Today’s the Day 8 for the World Water Colour Month and as I promised a food item yesterday, here I am with BREADS!
Breads are one of my favourite breakfast dishes. All you have to do is put some butter and cheese and you just enter Heaven. It is rich in iron and calcium and many other cholesterol reducing carbohydrates.
A popular misconception about white bread is that it is poor quality food. while white bread does not contain all the fibre and natural goodness of its wholemeal cousin, it is still nutritionally valuable when it is enriched with specific minerals and vitamins.
My ‘bread memory’ would be eating bread sandwich made by me as a breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning. I make the sandwich with cheese, butter and a cheese spread and after so many fatty things used with it, I usually don’t eat the lunch as fully (because so much cheese and butter just makes my tummy full!)
